Sr. IT Services Engineer / Systems Administrator

Cypress, California, United States; Redondo Beach, California, United States

At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration.

We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations across our Redondo Beach and Cypress facilities, including hardware, software, networking, identity, endpoints, and user lifecycle management.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows/macOS endpoints, servers, cloud infrastructure, and core business applications.
  • Support production-floor technology and troubleshoot systems that directly impact manufacturing operations, minimizing downtime and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Own and maintain the corporate and production printing environment, including standard office printers and specialized label/production printing systems such as Zebra, Brady, and Brother, including connectivity, drivers, print services, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and support conference room and audiovisual technology, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, displays, cameras, microphones, room resource accounts, and related meeting-room equipment.
  • Support wired and wireless network infrastructure across both facilities, including switches, wireless access points, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, VPN connectivity, firewalls, and network-connected production devices.
  • Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, kiosks, and shared/production workstations.
  • Set up and support new hires with appropriate equipment, Microsoft 365 licensing, security controls, application access, and access to internal manufacturing systems.
  • Administer identity and access controls, including account provisioning/deprovisioning, MFA, groups, permissions, service accounts, and shared/resource accounts.
  • Monitor system, network, and endpoint health and proactively identify issues before they impact office or manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain endpoint security, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and system configuration standards.
  • Support IT and cybersecurity compliance requirements, including CMMC and NIST SP 800-171, through implementation, documentation, evidence collection, access controls, configuration management, and remediation activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, configurations, assets, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and IT policies.
  • Manage IT vendors and service providers and assist with hardware/software procurement, licensing, renewals, and lifecycle management.
  • Provide hands-on technical support across departments and skill levels — from executives and engineers to manufacturing and production technicians.
  • Travel regularly between Senra's Redondo Beach and Cypress facilities to provide onsite support and maintain consistent IT standards across both locations.
  • Take ownership of technical issues from identification through resolution, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, MSPs, and other partners when necessary.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a similar hands-on technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and wireless networking.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows, and macOS environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management, endpoint management, security controls, and user lifecycle administration.
  • Experience supporting printers, production/label printing systems, audiovisual equipment, conference rooms, kiosks, and other network-connected devices.
  • Comfortable supporting both corporate users and manufacturing/production-floor technology where system availability directly impacts operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose issues across endpoints, applications, identity, networking, and peripherals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support everyone from executives and engineers to production technicians.
  • Comfortable operating with significant autonomy, taking ownership of issues end-to-end, and building scalable processes in a fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to regularly travel between our Redondo Beach and Cypress facilities.

  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or similar cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
