Sr. Project Manager

We are in search of a Sr eCommerce Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with clients, designers, and developers to oversee the successful management of our partner's eCommerce websites. Including the implementation of strategic initiatives and day-to-day site maintenance.

We are looking for dependable solution-oriented individuals who have sharp attention to detail, a strong work ethic; who will take charge of multiple projects from start to finish, and the ability to be flexible and thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment. The ability to communicate and effectively work cross-functionally with the team and leadership is also critical to being successful!

In particular, we are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of e-commerce project management experience, with a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

As a Project Manager this role could include:

  • Lead and manage the project management team, providing training, guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Define project management processes and best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, establish project objectives, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee project planning, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization of available resources
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, quality assurance, and stakeholders
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices, providing strategic guidance and insights to the team and clients
  • Conduct project reviews and postmortems to identify lessons learned, implement process improvements, and optimize project delivery
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by implementing successful project management processes and maintaining a focus on continuous improvement
  • Lead and manage key accounts concurrently, ensuring all project objectives and deliverables are met within defined timelines and budgets

Required Competencies

  • 5+ years of proven success in project management, specifically in web development projects with a focus on e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, foster collaboration, solution-focused, and resolve conflicts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and time constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP are highly desirable.
