Senior Analyst, Client Insights

The Best Practice Client Insights Senior Analyst will engage with clients to support them in identifying and capitalizing on their largest growth opportunities. The Best Practice Senior Analyst will be instrumental in the delivery of strategic analyses, insights, and recommendations based on applying SPINS proprietary assets in combination with each Client’s own information and team members. This includes leveraging the numerous quantitative assets SPINS has developed, as well as the qualitative insights held within the wider SPINS organization. This person will be working with our client companies to understand their opportunities and develop growth solutions and strategies to capture them. The Senior Analyst must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently, and efficiently collaborate to leverage resources within SPINS and Client organizations. Experience using syndicated data services and exceptional Excel & PowerPoint skills are key to success. This role will report to the Manager, Client Insights

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Account Management: discover and understand client needs, identify, and prioritize projects and requests, and establish insights agenda with the client
  • Data & Insights Delivery: deliver against insights agenda through relevant projects
  • Client Training: coordinate, facilitate and/or conduct client training on SPINS data and applications, ensuring they are able to effectively use, interpret, and apply them to their business
  • Relationship Building: cultivate existing and new relationships across the client’s organization
  • Business Development: using a deep understanding of the client’s goals, raise SPINS solutions that may solve their problems

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Prior experience with Circana, Nielsen, or SPINS syndicated data
  • 2+ years of experience with a CPG company, consulting, market research, or syndicated data firm
  • Proven goal-oriented, self-starter
  • Analytical in approach; ability to spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities in datasets
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage and interact with senior-level leadership within the client’s organization
  • Advanced capabilities with Excel and PowerPoint

The following is strongly preferred:

  • Natural industry experience is preferred, but not required

Salary Range: $79,000 - $95,000

As we are evaluating your candidacy for employment and throughout the application process, SPINS may collect, maintain and use the following Personal Information:

Use of Personal Information 

We use your Personal Information to process your application, to evaluate your capabilities and qualifications for employment, to conduct reference checks and background checks, to respond to questions and communicate with you about your application and our employment process, and to comply with applicable laws.  

 

Disclosure of Personal Information for Our Business Purposes

We may disclose Personal Information of Candidates with our affiliates that are evaluating Candidates for available positions. The affiliates are entities that we control, are controlled by, or are under common control with. Our affiliates may use and disclose Personal Information only as permitted in this privacy policy. 

We may use third parties to provide services to us in connection with posting available positions, recruiting assistance, and background check processing, and we may provide Personal Information to these third parties.  However, we will share Personal Information with third parties only if they agree to maintain the confidentiality of your Personal Information and to use your Personal Information only in connection with providing services to us. These other entities may use and disclose information only as provided in this privacy policy.

 

Disclosure of Personal Information with your Consent 

We may obtain your consent to disclose your Personal Information to a third party, in which case we will limit our disclosure and the use of your Personal Information only to the purposes for which we obtain your consent.  If we disclose your Personal Information to a third party with your consent, then your Personal Information will become subject to the privacy policy or other privacy commitments, if any, of that third party.

Retention of Personal Information

We will retain your Personal Information for so long as necessary to meet our business needs and to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.  Your Personal Information is primarily stored in digital media, and when we no longer need to retain your Personal Information we will dispose of your Personal Information, whether stored in digital media or in hard copies, in a secure manner.

 

Data Security

We use industry standard security measures to protect your Personal Information and require our service providers to do the same.  However, you must understand that no data transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We are not responsible for data security of any third party to whom we disclose Personal Information. In addition, we limit access to your Personal Information as explained above in the section on Your Personal Information Rights.

 

Transfer of Personal Information

We reserve the right to transfer all Personal Information in our possession to a successor organization in the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of our assets.
