About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, resourceful Sales Development Representative to open doors at some of the world’s most influential brands. Based in San Francisco and reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll identify prospective customers, earn their attention, and turn initial conversations into qualified sales opportunities.

This is an opportunity to build your sales career with direct access to an experienced revenue leader and meaningful ownership from day one. You’ll learn how enterprise deals get built, sharpen your commercial instincts, and have a visible impact on Swayable’s growth. You should be excited by the daily work it takes to get there: researching accounts, picking up the phone, testing messages, and following through when the first attempt doesn’t land.

What You’ll Do

  • Build pipeline: Generate qualified sales opportunities through consistent, thoughtful outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Find the right people: Research target accounts and identify decision-makers across marketing, consumer insights, brand strategy, and creative teams.
  • Make outreach relevant: Connect Swayable’s capabilities to a prospect’s business, priorities, and challenges, giving them a compelling reason to engage.
  • Qualify opportunities: Lead initial conversations to understand prospective customers’ needs and set the sales team up for productive next steps.
  • Improve the approach: Work directly with the CRO to test messaging, refine targeting, and turn what you learn into a more effective prospecting process.
  • Own your execution: Keep accurate CRM records, manage follow-ups, and take accountability for activity, qualified meetings, and pipeline goals.

Who You Are

  • You have 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in sales, business development, recruiting, or another role that requires proactive outreach and persistence.
  • You’re ambitious and self-motivated. You set a high bar for yourself and want your effort to translate into measurable results.
  • You’re willing to do the work. Cold calls, repeated follow-ups, and the consistency required to build pipeline are part of the challenge you’re signing up for.
  • You’re a quick study who can understand a technical product, ask smart questions, and explain its value in clear, engaging language.
  • You communicate confidently and concisely, whether you’re writing an email or speaking with a senior marketing leader.
  • You’re resilient and resourceful. When an approach isn’t working, you look for ways to improve and keep going.
  • You actively seek feedback and put it into practice. You’re excited to learn directly from the CRO and take increasing ownership as you develop.
  • You’re organized, dependable, and comfortable moving quickly in a startup environment.

Benefits:

  • 100% Medical, Dental & Vision Plans - no employee contribution required
  • Generous PTO
  • Equity Options
  • 401k plan, FSA
  • Ongoing professional development investments
  • Compensation: $65-75K base, $100-110K OTE
