Product Designer- Maternity Leave Cover

Tel Aviv, Israel

Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company and a proud Dun’s 100 Best High-Tech Companies to Work For in Israel!

As a Product Designer on the Taboola News team in our Tel Aviv office, you'll design the mobile experiences millions of people use every day to discover content on devices from the world's leading OEMs and carriers. As a B2B2C product, we design for two goals: an experience people value and come back to, and revenue results for our OEM partners. You'll own a product area end to end, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and OEM partners. This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover of 9 months.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio of B2C mobile products that drive engagement and retention.
  • Hands-on craft from early concepts to pixel-perfect delivery, using AI tools to move faster from concept to prototype.
  • Experience with UX research, conversion funnels, and user journeys, using qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions.
  • Product thinking - you separate what matters from what doesn't, weigh design choices against user and business impact, and believe (as we do) that a good designer is 30% PM.
  • A bachelor's degree in design and a high level of written and spoken English.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience designing for OEM, carrier, or device-level surfaces such as lock screens, widgets, or home-screen feeds.
  • Background in ad-based products and ad monetization UX.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Own the design of a Taboola News product area, working closely with its PMs, R&D, and business teams.
  • Pick up in-flight projects quickly and keep them moving through to launch.
  • Design core flows end to end - concepts, prototypes, and designs ready for development - within the Taboola News design system.
  • Run user research and usability tests, and turn the findings into design decisions.
  • Follow features after launch and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Work closely with the design team, sharing dilemmas, research methods, and insights day to day.
