- Work directly with customers and the Calico open source community to solve their hardest networking problems, from first report to merged solution
- Own the full lifecycle of your features, from design through coding, testing, and release, using AI tools and automation to move faster and cut repetitive work
You Have
- 5+ years of product-oriented software engineering experience
- Strong networking experience on Linux and in Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Golang (preferred) and/or C, C++, Java
- Experience in developing products with a focus on L2/L3 networking, L4-L7 network functions, and network security
- A BS in CS or related/similar degree (equivalent experience may suffice)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience or familiarity with any of these technologies: Istio, Envoy, CNI, or OpenStack
- Experience with eBPF
- Experience building automation or AI agents that make engineering teams more productive
- Experience developing, securing, or operating cloud-scale applications or infrastructure
