Senior Product Owner (AE ERP)

Our Product Team is looking for a Senior Product Owner to help realign our customer experience around a feature-rich ERP platform for our Architecture & Engineering Firm customers. 

In collaboration with Product Management, you will own the definition and delivery of specific features of our solution and will be a key contributor to our overall product strategy. With over 3,700 customers and a robust partner network, your actions and contributions will have a far-reaching impact on our high-growth business.  

What You’ll Do 

  • Research, define, and design requirements and scope through epics, user stories, and diagrams
  • Partner with Product Managers to understand the ‘Why’ and ‘What’ to enable you to own the ‘How’ 
  • Help define quarterly plan objectives, goals, and deliverables with other team members
  • Validate functionality and workflows to ensure we’re solving the right problems for our customers
  • Understand our customer profiles and user personas
  • Partner with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute on our product roadmap by planning and prioritizing objectively Set your engineers up for success by collaborating with them in sprint activities, providing them with relevant user stories and guiding them in estimation
  • Manage the intake of work to your product backlog, including day-to-day grooming and prioritization; facilitate iteration planning efforts to ensure your development team has organized work
  • Maintain and deepen existing integrations as well as conceptualize and develop new ones
  • Balance net new feature work and ticket-based work, partnering with development and quality assurance to triage, troubleshoot, and re-create tickets 

 Your First 90 Days 

In your First 30 Days, you will understand Unanet from the lens of our current product capabilities and roadmap. You will clarify and realign requirements by refactoring user stories, increasing our success in delivery. Working with our Scrum Master and Lead Engineers, you will grow in your understanding of your team’s nuances and capabilities. 

In your First 60 Days, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the direction we’re going in and why. Empowered by what you have learned, you will partner with Product Management to question, redefine, and revalidate your team’s roadmap for the coming quarters. Working with your Scrum Team, you will define and solidify those deliverables. 

In Your First 90 Days, you will work with Product Management to build a success plan for all new deliverables. You will be the guiding light for your Scrum Team as they execute on your defined deliverables. You will engage with other Product Owners to proactively define, rank and groom work backlogs for roadmap initiatives. 

Who You Are 

  • 5+ years of software product owner experience in an Agile environment 
  • Ability to identify gaps, program risks, and proactively address them
  • Strong technical writing and visualization skills
  • Comfortable with technical architecture and mapping out data flow diagrams
  • Strong planning, execution, and product delivery skills
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business, functional, and technical product requirements
  • Experience bringing multiple B2B software feature enhancements and bug fixes to market
  • Collaborative, self-organized, accountable, and driven to deliver high-quality products
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of JIRA 

 Your Differentiators 

  • Prior experience with ERP or other Accounting software solutions  
  • Experience serving the Architecture, Engineering, or other project-based businesses preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $122,500 – 140,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
