Director, Go-to-Market Business Systems

Our rapidly growing Business Operations team is seeking a Director of GTM Business Systems! This player-coach leadership role is a key opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing go-to-market systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership, and technical expertise to optimize and align our GTM systems. Additionally, they should have a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions that support our growth and operational needs.

 This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to balance hands-on expertise with effective team leadership.

 What You’ll Do

  • Own the delivery of technology improvements for Unanet’s GTM systems
  • Partner with leaders in Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product to ensure a dependable and integrated Go-to-Market technology backbone
  • Lead the GTM Systems team, setting standards for quality and velocity
  • Drive technical solutions aligning with best practices and architecture solutions
  • Develop applications using best-of-breed design patterns
  • Manage Salesforce.com (SFDC) best practices and a fully controlled change management process
  • Manage the full application lifecycle: Requirements Gathering, Architecture, Development, User Acceptance, Roll Out, and Support
  • Manage data governance processes and adherence of guidelines between internal business units and systems
  • Maintain excellent technical documentation and team processes in our Business Operations confluence space for end user and technical documentation
  • Manage our Sprint Cycles leveraging Jira
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Manage and mentor a team of three (3) GTM systems professionals, developing their skills and capabilities to drive system and business success
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align GTM processes to our systems, create and execute unified workflows and automations, and drive effective data sharing and visibility
    • Be a champion for process and data integrity, ensuring best practices and governance protocols are adhered to across all GTM systems
  • Project & Change Management:
    • Oversee the successful execution of systems projects, including project planning, timeline management, stakeholder communication, sprint management and post release hyper care
    • Leverage analytics and insights to continuously improve GTM systems, making data-driven recommendations for future enhancements
  • System Management
    • Take full ownership of the architecture, configuration, customization, and maintenance of GTM platforms, including Salesforce, LeanData, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft and Boomi ensuring seamless integration and scalability
    • Design and implement scalable automation, workflows, and data models that align with business needs, leveraging Apex, Flow, and third-party integrations to optimize processes
    • Serve as the primary technical leader for complex system challenges, conducting deep root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and implementing robust, scalable solutions
    • Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating business requirements into technical specifications, defining system architecture, and driving end-to-end implementation
    • Develop and enforce best practices in system design, data governance, and security to ensure long-term stability and compliance
    • Lead by example with a hands-on approach to system troubleshooting, API integrations, and workflow development while mentoring and upskilling team members
    • Own and manage the Salesforce Consulting Partner relationship, ensuring strategic alignment, roadmap execution, and continuous optimization of GTM systems

Your First 90 Days

First 30 Days: Build relationships with your team and key stakeholders across GTM, IT, and Finance. Assess internal processes, operational frameworks, and system architecture. Start to evaluate how Revenue teams use Salesforce and other GTM tools. By the end of 30 days, take full ownership of team management, setting priorities and aligning initiatives.

First 60 Days: Deep dive with your team into Salesforce architecture and GTM tech stack. Review existing priorities in our roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges. Gain a strong understanding of the quote-to-cash process and begin to take ownership of road-mapped priorities.

First 90 Days: Own the management of all system enhancements, strategic projects, and change management related to our GTM systems. Lead team performance and mentorship while driving operational efficiency. Implement scalable solutions and drive initiatives related to our GTM strategy and revenue operations.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years in GTM systems management and architecture
  • 5+ years leading and mentoring teams, with SaaS experience
  • Advanced expertise in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ, with required certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Architect)
  • Proven track record in Salesforce administration, development, and implementation (5+ years)
  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce customization and Enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Expertise in Go-to-Market processes and aligning technology solutions effectively
  • Proficient in Salesforce Experience Cloud, Conga, and sales/marketing tools (e.g., Salesloft, LeanData, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to multitask and ensure attention to detail
  • Excellent communication for handling cross-departmental projects
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities

  • Expertise in assessing business deficiencies, recommending best practices, and partnering with technical resources to implement solutions
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for building efficient and value-driving data workflows
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering quantitative metrics in a business context
  • Experience with NetSuite or related billing system preferred
  • Previous management experience with a desire to develop further leadership skills

The salary range for this opportunity is $150,000- $175,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
