Senior Technical Consultant (AI)

Anywhere in the United States

Our team is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with expertise in data analytics, Power BI, and SQL to join our customer-facing consulting team.  You’ll work with clients to turn ERP data into actionable insights via dashboards and reports that drive project success, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. This role blends technical problem-solving with consultative interaction. You'll be the bridge between raw project/financial data and the business decisions our firms rely on to manage risk, allocate resources, and drive profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into robust technical solutions
  • Partner directly with clients to assess reporting needs and deliver analytics solutions using Power BI and SQL
  • Design and build custom dashboards and interactive reports tailored to project-centric operations, including time tracking, WIP, labor cost analysis, and resource utilization
  • Develop performant SQL queries/views and data pipelines pulling from our data lake
  • Interpret and model complex ERP data structures common in AEC workflows (e.g., timesheets, subcontracts, project financials)
  • Serve as the analytics subject matter expert in cross-functional project teams involving implementation, integration, and transformation efforts

Your First 90 Days

In your first 30 days, you will become familiar with our solutions, the industries we serve, and our customer first approach. You will immerse yourself in our company-wide onboarding while partnering closely with internal teams to learn more about your role and projects. As your familiarity with our team, operations, and data structures grow, so too will your impact and influence.

In your first 60 days, you will begin collaborating with customers to assess their needs and develop analytics solutions that address real, quantifiable business challenges. You will help design and build dashboards and reports tailored to project-centric operations, along with contributing as the subject matter expert to deliver impact solutions.

In your first 90 days, your efforts and successes will allow you to deliver actionable insights to drive project success, operational efficiency, and strategic planning for your customers. By building strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering high-quality solutions, you will help unlock and deliver value to our growing customer base.

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of SQL experience, ideally working with ERP or financial/project management systems
  • 3+ years building Power BI dashboards, with strong skills in DAX and Power Query
  • Demonstrated success consulting with external clients, ideally in a SaaS or implementation context

  • Comfortable juggling multiple client engagements and working independently when needed
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and ability to represent data clearly and concisely
  • Ability to understand ERP data structures and map business processes to reporting needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Your Differentiators

  • Exposure to AEC ERP platforms (e.g., Deltek, BST, CMiC, Unanet, Viewpoint, Procore)
  • Understanding of AEC-specific concepts like labor cost vs. effort, project cost accounting, contract/billing types, and work-in-progress (WIP) metrics
  • Experience extracting insights from project lifecycle data (e.g., time entry, procurement, invoicing, forecasting)

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
