Technical Recruiter

Compass is looking for a Technical Recruiter who will drive the Company’s talent acquisition strategy for our growing teams across Engineering, Data, and Product. As our Technical Recruiter, you’ll partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to develop, drive, and manage sourcing/recruiting strategies for our technical positions. In addition, you will assist in developing and promoting the Compass culture internally and externally.

Please note that this is an in-office role.

At Compass You Will:

  • Manage and drive the full recruitment life cycle by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews, and assisting in determining the suitability of applicants in various departments for employment
  • Work with Compass hiring managers to better understand each department’s needs and screen incoming applicants quickly and effectively
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics
  • Communicate with candidates professionally and be immediately responsive
  • Promote the Compass brand and use creativity to attract and market the Company to qualified and strong candidates

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing engineers
  • Experience managing technical candidate pipelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
  • B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency and constant attention
  • High level of interpersonal skills and strong ability to engage both active and passive candidates
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve sourcing, research, outreach, and recruiting workflows; curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and approaches
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Experience with Greenhouse (or other relevant Applicant Tracking Systems) and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications, especially Google Suite

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $120,000-$130,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
