In a Nutshell

As Manager, Media, you will oversee the execution of strategic media campaigns across Retail Media channels. Reporting to a Director, Media, you will manage day-to-day operations, collaborate with clients and partners, and drive measurable outcomes through platform management, reporting, and optimization. You'll play a critical role in supporting innovative media strategies, improving processes, and ensuring the team’s efforts align with organizational goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement eCommerce media strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and sales across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and other retail media networks.
  • Support the development of media plans and execute campaigns to deliver on client business objectives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing insights, performance updates, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build relationships with platform partners (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect) to stay updated on best practices and emerging opportunities.
  • Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and optimization workflows to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage reporting processes, ensuring timely delivery of insights and performance dashboards for clients.
  • Analyze media performance with strong excel skills and tools like Amazon Marketing Cloud and Tableau.
  • Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including creative, legal, and finance, to streamline workflows and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering skill development and collaboration.

What You’ve Got

  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect, and familiarity with tools like Pacvue, Skai, or CommerceIQ.
  • Proficiency in analytics and data visualization tools to track and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex analytics clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven success in managing campaign operations, including QA processes, trafficking, and reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency in managing campaigns on retail media networks, including:
    • Amazon Advertising: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Video, and Amazon DSP.
    • Walmart Connect: Sponsored Search, Display, and DSP activations.
    • Roundel Media Studio: Media placements that align with category and brand strategies.
    • Instacart Ads: Managing campaigns across search and display within grocery-focused platforms.
    • Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM): Executing retail media campaigns for grocery and CPG brands.
    • Other Retail Media Platforms: Experience with emerging networks like Criteo Commerce Max, Promote IQ, Sam’s Club MAP, and more.
  • Knowledge of retail-integrated social platforms (e.g., Pinterest, TikTok, Meta) to drive omnichannel campaign performance.
  • A strong understanding of how retail media networks integrate with broader eCommerce strategies, such as driving sales lift, increasing ROAS, and building brand visibility.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
