Producer, Live Shopping

Location: New York, NY

Reports to: VP of Social Commerce

Overall Purpose: We are seeking an experienced LIVE Producer & Operations Manager to lead the execution of high-performing brand livestreams across TikTok Shop and emerging social commerce platforms.

This role owns the end-to-end production process—from pre-production planning and merchandising setup through live execution and post-event optimization. You'll partner closely with strategists, creators, live hosts, client leads, and platform partners to produce livestreams that drive revenue while delivering an exceptional client experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands both the technical and commercial side of LIVE shopping, and is passionate about building scalable production processes.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Production Planning & Logistics

  • Support Live Shopping strategy and concepting
  • Coordinate production schedules, studio timelines, and equipment needs
  • Manage product samples, shipping, and on-set inventory
  • Coordinate with internal teams, creators, and vendors to ensure production readiness
  • Support studio setup and production logistics for both in-person and remote broadcasts
  • Maintain production documentation and standardized operating procedures

LIVE Production & Execution

  • Own day-to-day execution of client livestream productions
  • Develop detailed run-of-show documents and production timelines
  • Train hosts prior to broadcasts
  • Manage live productions, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
  • Maintain production quality across audio, lighting, video, pacing, and overall viewer experience
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real time while keeping broadcasts on schedule

LIVE Operations & Merchandising

  • Configure livestreams within TikTok Shop Seller Center
  • Set up products, flash sales, coupons, giveaways, auctions, bundles, and promotional mechanics
  • Review inventory availability and coordinate merchandising before each event
  • Optimize product sequencing throughout broadcasts to maximize conversion
  • Ensure all promotional mechanics are functioning properly before going live

Performance Optimization

  • Analyze livestream performance across revenue, conversion, engagement, and operational KPIs
  • Develop post-event recaps with insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to improve show flow, merchandising strategy, promotional tactics, and production quality
  • Continuously test new LIVE formats, features, and platform capabilities

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • 3-6 years of experience in livestream production
  • Proficiency across Live Shopping Platforms: TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Amazon, Walmart
  • Experience with TikTok Shop’s Streamer Desktop, or other livestream commerce platforms
  • Ability to produce high-quality livestreams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of merchandising strategy, promotional mechanics, and conversion optimization
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical production issues under tight timelines
  • An analytical mindset with experience translating performance data into actionable improvements
  • Experience collaborating across commerce, marketing, and client teams
