Senior Experiential Producer (VP)

  • Participate in and contribute to project planning/development meetings and internal/external status meetings.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure the highest quality and smoothest operation of the overall production – from brief, through pre-production and onsite execution.
  • Help identify appropriate outside vendors, (per event scope/type), request and negotiate bids, select, hire and manage vendors & vendor contracts, payments and deliverables; monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to deliver breakthrough ideas that deliver against client objectives
  • Oversees all Event Production needs to ensure world-class execution
  • Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure consistent & comprehensive communication
  • Facilitate creative approval process (i.e. renderings, specs, signage, POS, etc.)
  • Develop & manage timelines, run of show, budgets & reconciliation
  • On-site event logistics management & execution 
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for all assigned events, managing all logistics including venue contracting, F&B, staffing, décor, security, check-in, and on-site execution 
  • Assists management team in operational aspects (i.e., manage finances, staffing, team bandwidth, HR, culture and training)
  • Supports the development of processes and procedures that enable smooth collaboration amongst internal and external partners.
  • Resource for trouble-shooting and problem-solving. Supervises mid-level Managers.
  • Creates and fosters a strong creative culture with a focus on the growth and development of the team. 
  • Demonstrates strong thought leadership, keeping ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendations.
  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships with key/potential clients and key third parties/vendors.
  • Makes timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.
  • Applies ‘planning’ theory as a critical thinker daily, identifies and exploits strategic opportunities.
  • Acts as a strategic partner for senior-level clients, shaping their strategy.
  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships that benefit the organization and support business goals.
  • Advises clients at the most senior level and is viewed as a true Experiential expert to clients based on their strategic approach and mindset.
  • Leads their area in pitches based on in-depth industry knowledge and innovative strategies.
  • Delivers innovative activations and/or strategy that creates new offerings and improves existing processes.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in event planning and execution, with demonstrated experience managing a diverse portfolio of event types and sizes
  • Proven experience managing third-party event agencies — including briefing, overseeing production, and holding external partners accountable to outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously across different stakeholder groups, timelines, and complexity levels
  • Strong budget management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences within cost parameters
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder — comfortable working across a wide range of internal partners, external vendors, agencies, and senior stakeholders
  • Highly resourceful and self-sufficient
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex logistics without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Calm and decisive under pressure — able to adapt quickly and make confident decisions in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
  • Establishes themselves as an expert voice in the industry, influencing trends and best practices.
