Who we are:  VaynerMedia is a full-service production company and the executional arm of VaynerX. Our mission is to imagine and bring to life bold, innovative ways for clients to connect with their audiences through content shaped by today’s constantly evolving media landscape. From documentary shorts and music videos to social media series and podcasts, we specialize in end-to-end production—turning vision into reality, from concept to final delivery.

 

Who you are: As an Editor, you’ll be responsible for shaping raw footage into compelling, polished stories that align with creative goals and client expectations. You’ll collaborate with directors, post producers, creatives, and finishing teams to deliver broadcast-ready and digital-first content that resonates. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with a strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and experience editing branded and commercial content.

 

Role Summary

  • Edit commercials, branded content, sizzle reels, social spots, and case studies
  • Work with directors, producers, and agency creatives to execute editorial vision
  • Interpret scripts, storyboards, and selects into compelling visual stories
  • Manage media organization, syncing, versioning, and editorial timelines
  • Handle multiple deliverables per project, including cutdowns, social formats, and revisions
  • Implement client and internal feedback with a solutions-first mindset
  • Collaborate with motion, sound, color, and VFX teams during post
  • Prep timelines for finishing, including online conform and delivery
  • Maintain proper file management and data backup workflows

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience editing commercial or branded content
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (primary), with working knowledge of After Effects and Resolve
  • Strong narrative instincts and editorial rhythm
  • Excellent eye for performance, pacing, and visual composition
  • Familiar with multi-platform delivery requirements (broadcast, digital, social, OLV)
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with tools such as Frame.io, Dropbox, LucidLink, Slack, Google Drive

 

Expectations

  • Motion graphics and VFX editing experience
  • Familiarity with audio editing and sound design and color grading
  • Experience in a client-facing role or leading sessions
  • Prior experience at an editorial house, ad agency, or production company

Base Salary

$95,000 - $125,000 USD
