As a Talent Strategy & Operations Principal at Via, you will play a direct role in scaling, refining, and operationalizing our talent processes. As Via continues to scale, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent across the company.

About the Role:

  • Own the full hiring strategy for your global teams, from defining target profiles to executing the outreach plan for top talent.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their goals, challenge assumptions, and shape a process that leads to the right hire.
  • Build and maintain proactive, high-quality candidate pipelines that reflect both the external talent market and Via’s future roadmap.
  • Run fast, thoughtful, and innovative recruiting processes that give candidates a great experience while helping teams move quickly.
  • Spot patterns and opportunities to improve how we hire, sharing insights and data across teams at every opportunity.
  • Map, track, and source top talent across major markets, leveraging deep research skills to become a subject-matter expert in industry trends.
  • Make data-driven decisions, using key metrics (funnel conversion, calibration, pass-through rates) to diagnose bottlenecks, educate partners, and solve problems.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience across every stage of the interview process.
  • Think big and build: develop new initiatives to market opportunities at Via, engage talent, and raise the operational rigor and impact of the Talent function.

About You:

  • Intellectually curious, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-moving People Operations function.
  • Results-driven; you're motivated to meet and exceed your goals.
  • Reliable, independent, and able to manage high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A savvy, tactful, and graceful communicator – you intuitively find the right tone in every situation, and enjoy working with others.
  • Analytical and innovative; you're a natural problem-solver, and you approach new challenges with creativity.
  • Technically savvy; you may already know some Boolean operators, and you're excited to explore new platforms.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience at a high growth company.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $95,000-$135,000 per year plus equity as part of a total compensation package. Final compensation will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Comprehensive health coverage, with low-cost dental and vision plans.
  • A 401(k) with company match and vesting.
  • Fully paid parental leave for new parents, with extended leave options.
  • Additional benefits (mental health, pet insurance, and other wellness perks).
  • 20 days of paid time off (PTO) annually.
