HERE IS WHAT WE ARE HIRING FOR
Driver Schedule: PART-TIME (2 shift available)
Driver Schedule: PART-TIME 2 part time shifts morning and afternoon
Schedule: 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday 6:00am - 9am AND OR 3pm - 5pm.
High school diploma required
Clean DMV and Livescan background
Role Overview:
The Part Time Driver (20 hours/week) - NPS (Non-Public School: Vista School) is responsible for door-to-door transportation of Special Education Students.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide services in and around the Los Angeles County area
- Pick up and drop off students
- Maintain and update route sheets
- Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies.
- Complete daily van safety check including Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed.
- Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to meet the insurance underwriting conditions.
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Ability to interrupt physical altercations among students and administer CPR/First Aid
- May be required to obtain a Class B Driver’s License
What You Bring to VDM:
- High School Diploma
- Driving experience transporting students
- COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required.

Compensation:
$25 an hour
Schedule: 20 hours a week, Monday-Friday 6:45am - 8:30am AND OR 3pm - 5pm.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS ALL BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS.
