About the Role:
Wing is looking for a Talent Partner to join our Talent Team. This is a hybrid role and is based in Palo Alto, CA. As a Talent Partner, you will drive the full lifecycle of our technical recruiting strategy and execution, acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leaders within our Chief Technology Organization function. In this role, you will balance business needs with the urgency to attract and hire top talent, while influencing cross-functional partners to align on key hiring objectives. Additionally, you will lead talent initiatives to update processes and programs and influence key stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record hiring technical talent, exceptional communication and influencing skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead full-cycle technical recruiting as a strategic talent advisor to engineering leaders within the CTO organization, specializing in backend flight systems and aircraft engineering
- Develop and implement highly tailored search strategies for niche and complex technical roles, leveraging market research, advanced Boolean searches, and applications to build robust pipelines of active and passive candidates
- Cultivate trusting, high-impact relationships with key technical stakeholders to proactively support hiring efforts and strategic talent initiatives
- Provide a white-glove candidate experience for highly sought-after technical talent, ensuring clear, detailed, and proactive communication throughout the entire recruiting process
- Utilize a deep understanding of the external technical talent landscape and candidate expectations to expertly craft and execute complex offer negotiations with an equitable and competitive lens
- Leverage recruiting metrics and data analytics to identify trends in hiring pipelines and talent market, inform data-driven hiring decisions, optimize recruiting processes, and continuously improve overall hiring efficiency for the CTO organization
- Lead and champion talent initiatives to enhance technical recruitment processes, employer branding, and programs to attract top-tier technical talent and strengthen the organization's technical density
- Maintain accurate and real-time tracking of all recruitment activities and pipelines in our ATS (Greenhouse), ensuring all documentation is updated to reflect current processes and insights
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 5-years dedicated to technical recruiting for complex engineering roles (e.g., software engineering, aerospace engineering, hardware engineering)
- Demonstrated expertise in hiring for niche and highly specialized engineering and technical roles
- Proven track record of successfully closing senior-level technical candidates and managing complex compensation packages that include equity components
- Deep understanding of engineering concepts and technical landscape to effectively screen candidates and engage with technical hiring managers
- Proven ability to thrive and build strong, influential relationships both internally and externally in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Extensive experience developing technical talent hiring and process recommendations, implementing innovative solutions, and designing creative recruiting strategies
- Exceptional ability to prioritize and excel in a highly ambiguous environment with competing demands and evolving technical hiring priorities
- Strong initiative and a proactive approach to building productive relationships and driving results in a highly technical organization
The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
Salary Range
$174,000 - $185,000 USD
