Dermatology Nurse – Outpatients

Contract: Immediate Start | Ongoing Until July
08:00–17:00 

Xyla is currently recruiting for an experienced Dermatology Nurse to join a specialist outpatient service in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established dermatology team, supporting the delivery of high-quality care and helping to reduce patient waiting times. 

The Role

You will be responsible for managing outpatient dermatology clinics, assessing and supporting patients through both new and follow-up appointments, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation throughout each session. Clinics cover a range of dermatology pathways, including general dermatology, skin lesion assessments, biopsies, and urgent referrals. 

Requirements

• NMC Registered Nurse
• Previous experience working within Dermatology Outpatients
• Confident managing patients independently within a clinic setting
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and electronic notes
