POSITION OVERVIEW

Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking a dynamic State Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and strategic direction across our pediatric practices. This pivotal role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, efficient medical management, and optimal utilization of pediatric resources. The State Medical Director will drive clinical excellence, oversee provider performance, and align medical operations with Zarminali’s mission and objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Regional Medical Director at Zarminali you will focus on:

• Serve as a key member of our market leadership team, providing strategic direction and clinical oversight.
• Offer hands-on support to clinics, driving quality improvement and ensuring appropriate patient utilization. 
• Communicate enterprise initiatives to clinicians. Relay feedback, ideas, and suggestions from clinicians to leadership
• Resolve clinician and clinical issues in the region in partnership with operational dyad.
• Foster collaboration and alignment between medical operations and organizational goals.
• Chair enterprise clinical committees and lead organization performance improvement work.
• Champion initiatives to enhance patient engagement and improve health outcomes through innovative leadership.

• Financial & Value-Based Care Alignment: Drive value-based initiatives and financial sustainability.
• Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Represent Zarminali in partnerships, policy advocacy, and patient-centered care efforts. 

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Proven leadership experience as a Medical Director, CMO, or similar role.
• Strong clinical and analytical expertise in evidence-based medicine and data-driven decision making.
• Experience leading quality improvement, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and utilization management initiatives.
• Proficiency in healthcare information systems, EHRs, and data analytics tools.
• Success in clinician recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted license; board certification in General Pediatrics or Pediatric Specialty
• Must reside in the region specified. Must be eligible and willing to be licensed in all states covered in the region.
• Ability to align clinical operations with value-based care, population health strategies, and financial sustainability.
• Strategic mindset with strong operational management skills and the flexibility to travel as needed.
