About the role

The Senior Brand & Marketing Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping Crunchtime's visual identity. This position is responsible for creating compelling visual content, effectively communicating our solutions to an enterprise audience, and promoting our company culture internally. The Senior Brand & Marketing Designer collaborates closely with the marketing, sales, and people ops teams to design assets that align with our brand, culture, and business goals. This is a hands-on design role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values craft, and can independently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality work.

What you’ll do as a Senior Brand & Marketing Designer

Strategic Marketing Design

  • Develop marketing and campaign designs that resonate with a B2B audience and align with project objectives, ensuring high quality and thoughtful execution that goes beyond just completing design projects
  • Lead the creation of complex visual concepts and strategies, such as marketecture, process diagrams, and executive keynote presentations, to effectively communicate Crunchtime's business objectives

Art Direction

  • Design and maintain visual consistency across all platforms including websites, social media, promotional campaign assets, and sales collateral
  • Create and oversee the production of both print and digital materials including brochures, white papers, case studies, presentations, infographics, and digital ads
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by actively seeking input and applying it to elevate design quality
  • Ability to pivot creative direction mid-stream without losing momentum
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly those relevant to the tech industry


Brand Management

  • Ensure that all design outputs from both internal and external creators adhere to the company’s brand guidelines and effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition
  • Evolve and refine the visual identity of the company to keep it fresh and relevant
  • Develop and maintain a library of visual assets, including icons, photos, illustrations, and color palette


Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with the marketing team to translate campaign ideas into engaging visual content
  • Support the sales team by designing custom presentations, proposal templates, and other sales enablement materials
  • Collaborate with the people ops team to enhance the employee experience through employer branding
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude, embracing constructive feedback as a tool for refining design work and advancing skills
  • Collaborate with marketing, content managers, and video marketing specialists in utilizing motion graphics and video to create dynamic content for digital campaigns


Project Management

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers and production houses to execute design projects as needed
  • Maintain organized files and project documentation for easy access and future reference


Website Design and Management

  • Collaborate with the web developer to implement design updates, ensuring that the site reflects the latest branding guidelines and visual standards
  • Ensure the website design is optimized for a seamless experience across all devices, especially for users accessing the site from different platforms
  • Partner with the marketing ops team to ensure that web design elements are optimized for search engines, including the strategic use of keywords in visual content

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design, including 2+ years within the B2B/technology industry
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand systems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, campaigns, digital, and marketing communications
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
  • Experience with UX/UI design and working knowledge of content management systems such as HubSpot
  • Deep understanding of print production processes and experience working with external vendors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to non-designer stakeholders
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing quality

Compensation

The annual base compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. The reasonably estimated total cash compensation range for this full-time position is $96,750 - $129,000.

Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to: job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
