This does include lead teaching a K-12 classroom independently, co-teaching with another lead teacher, or lead teaching in a different capacity outside of the homeroom (i.e. SETSS, reading interventionist). This does not include experience as a substitute or long-term substitute, teacher's assistant, associate teacher, tutor, or in a teacher training role (i.e. student teacher).

You can upload the video to YouTube and make sure it's unlisted or you can share a Google Drive link (viewable to anyone with the link, please - update the security settings if needed). The ideal video would be in-person, with students,  for a full lesson, but if you don't have that, a video of yourself teaching remotely would suffice. If you absolutely cannot find or share a video of yourself teaching, please indicate so below. Even if you don't love the video of yourself teaching, any video is better than no video, and we will take time to discuss your video in the interview, so you will be able to explain how you'd improve next time. 

Zeta operates as a network of schools, currently serving students in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan (Inwood / Washington Heights locations). Zeta places teachers in schools based on what is best for the students, taking into consideration the community needs, team dynamics, and school leadership. These decisions are finalized in late spring and early summer. We want teachers who are flexible about school location, but we will strive to give each teacher one of their top choices.
