Hardworking Role Description As a senior gas trader, you will play a central role in expanding models, developing new trading strategies, managing the portfolio across the curve, and generally having the opportunity to trade both physical and financial products What we offer in this role  A full-time, high-impact position within our dynamic Commercial team. Equity participation, ensuring long-term alignment Responsibilities Execute trades across major EU gas markets, focusing on both physical and financial opportunities. Optimise storage, transportation, and capacity portfolios to maximise profitability. Develop and implement data-driven trading strategies and tools for market analysis. Conduct thorough analysis of market fundamentals, logistics, and trends to capitalise on trading opportunities. Manage risk and compliance effectively while ensuring adherence to company mandates. Contribute to the strategic direction of the gas trading desk and identify areas for growth. Collaborate with internal teams, including analytics and operations, to enhance trading performance. Requirements 5+ years of experience in European natural gas trading, with a proven track record of success. In-depth understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics, and market dynamics. Demonstrated ability to optimise complex portfolios and identify profitable trading opportunities. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools and programming (e.g., Python, R, or Excel VBA). A robust network within the natural gas industry. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Hardworking Role Summary You will own and refine Cobblestone’s global LNG supply‑demand model and turn it into actionable medium‑ and long‑term trade ideas for our Gas Trading desk. Your analysis will directly inform our European gas strategies and drive commercial value across our trading franchise. What We Offer Full‑time role on a high‑impact Commercial team with committed, talented colleagues Highly competitive compensation and equity participation, aligned with your contributions Travel support for industry conferences and networking True autonomy: build projects from the ground up and make independent decisions Key Responsibilities Own & Enhance Global LNG Model Maintain our integrated global LNG balances, aligned with European gas systems Monitor Benchmarks & Spreads Track JKM, TTF, Henry Hub and regional spreads; translate movements into market views Drive Data‑Pipeline & Dashboards Lead enhancements to our Python/SQL pipelines and Tableau/Excel reporting tools Generate Trade Ideas Develop and present medium‑ and long‑term LNG trading strategies to stakeholders Requirements Must‑Have 3+ years of gas market analysis or similar energy‑sector role (trading house, consultancy, producer) Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field Strong LNG value‑chain knowledge (liquefaction, shipping, regasification) Advanced Excel modelling and intermediate Python & SQL skills Excellent written and verbal communication: distill complex analysis into clear recommendations Desirable Prior experience with Tableau dashboard development Familiarity with Asian market dynamics (JKM, Chinese demand, fuel‑switching trends) Exposure to advanced scripting or automation (e.g., Python libraries, API integration)
