About Us: At Emendata, we help bridge the gap between data and the real world. We partner with organizations that have a social mission and help them tackle their problems using analytics. About the Role: Fundamentally, this role is for someone who likes solving problems with data. To take these analytic projects from end to end, we need your help in:

Context: Understanding the client’s problem and identifying the right research questions
Data: Corralling the data needed for analysis by cleaning, linking, and structuring large datasets
Analysis: Deploying the right analytic tool for the job and interpreting the results
Delivery: Bringing the results together in a narrative and communicating it effectively

Qualifications: We are growing rapidly and looking for people at all stages of their careers, from new grads to analytics experts. Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent technical training
Programming: Basic to intermediate experience with Python, SQL, or R
Analysis: Exceptional problem-solving skills with an understanding of statistical/social science research methods

This position is full-time onsite. Working side by side accelerates learning, mentorship, and the kind of collaboration that leads to producing our best work. Additionally, to be considered for this position, applicants must have the ability to work in the U.S. without a need for current or future visa sponsorship. Staff will be required to complete a successful background investigation, including the Questionnaire for Public Trust Position SF-85.
