Community Building Manager

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage thriving communities on Discord, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
• Spark meaningful conversations by creating engaging discussion topics, AMAs, and events.
• Identify, nurture, and empower community advocates to amplify Emergent’s presence through word-of-mouth.
• Develop content calendars, engagement campaigns, and moderation guidelines tailored for each platform.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and growth teams to bring community insights into strategy.
• Track community health using engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and growth KPIs.
• Handle escalations with empathy and ensure safe, positive spaces for members.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-5 years of experience in community management.
• Strong understanding of Discord & Reddit community-building best practices.
• Excellent communication, moderation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive advocacy, loyalty, and word-of-mouth growth.
• Familiarity with community analytics tools and reporting.
• Creative thinker with a passion for building authentic connections.

Good to Have

• Experience scaling communities for high-growth startups or tech-driven products.
• Knowledge of gamification, community growth loops, or ambassador programs.
• Familiarity with SaaS, B2B, or creator economy ecosystems.
• Prior experience with community-driven campaigns or digital advocacy initiatives.
