Material Handler

Specific Role: 

Weld Kitting is an important role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role gathers, organizes and kits parts and/or materials needed for welding manufacturing orders (MO). These prepared materials will then be transferred to weld by material handlers. Execute the daily scheduled production expectations for your specific role provided by industrial tech and/or manager. 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Identify all parts and/or pallets are labeled with the following, which may include but are not limited to; manufacturing order (MO)/sales order (SO), item number, bill of materials (BOM) and quantity by securing tag color, label and traveler. Kit received items by (MO) traveler, crate instructions and consolidate for efficiency: 80%
• Stage kitted manufacturing orders (MO) for material handlers: 10%
• Keep areas organized clean and clear of potential hazards: 6%
• Ensure the finished product meets the specified quality standards: 2%
• Stage empty pallets at Gatekeeper location: 1%
• Ensure OSEON status accuracy across all activities: 1%
