Painter - 2nd Shift
Specific Role:
The Wet Painter is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility, responsible for applying wet paint to prepped parts with precision and consistency. This position supports the flow of production by ensuring parts are painted, finished, and transferred on schedule to the next stage. Wet Painters play a critical part in maintaining EMIT’s quality standards and keeping equipment and work areas organized, safe, and production-ready.
Key Accountabilities:

Apply paint to prepped parts and/or materials according to the manufacturing order (MO).

Mix and prepare paint and related materials as specified in the MO.

Ensure all finished products meet defined quality standards.

Execute the daily scheduled production expectations provided by leadership.

Maintain, clean, and organize the paint booth, including walls, floors, filters, rigging, racks, and equipment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in painting, coating, or a related manufacturing role preferred.

Knowledge of paint mixing, spray equipment, and finishing techniques.

Strong attention to detail to achieve consistent and high-quality results.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and manufacturing orders accurately.

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Commitment to following all PPE requirements and workplace safety protocols.
Physical & Safety Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly.
-
Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.

Always use proper PPE when required.

Follow safety protocols when using tools, paint, and handling materials.

Pay Range
