A bit about the role …

This role, which includes occasional national and international travel, to keep up to date with venue and destination knowledge supports our account teams and direct clients.

By being responsible for the venue sourcing you will produce high-quality inspirational venue sourcing and event management proposals and concepts for all your clients work on a range of meetings and events including investigator meetings, advisory boards, congresses, conferences, gala dinners, sales meetings and KOL meetings.

What will you do …

· Present a full knowledge of UK and international destinations and venues

· Deliver full venue sourcing function following company process

· Produce all client proposals

· Improve leverage and negotiation with suppliers

· Produce all event costings within time frames set

· Liase with all inter departmental teams

· Deliver 100% quality and accuracy following both client and company processes

· Display an understanding of company values

· Present a full knowledge of supplier meeting, site inspection and educational trip process

· Attend on-site to assist project teams

· Support the venue sourcing management team on additional tasks as needed by the business

What do you need to have …

· Either previous event management experience or a degree in event management

· Client liaison skills

· Team motivator and professional team member

· A focus on accuracy, consistency and dedicated to customer service

· Intermediate level Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Microsoft Office Suite

· With enthusiasm in abundance, you will be organised

· The flexibility and desire to travel overseas

· Live within a commutable distance of our Ashby-de-la-Zouch

· Happy to work 4 out of 5 days a week minimum in our Ashby office
