About Team

At Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud, we empower customers to connect with their audience, analyze performance, and get inspired through our AI-powered platform. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Backend Software Engineer II to join one of our core platform teams.

Our first team focuses on maintaining and enhancing the data flow that influences various parts of our product, including publishing functionalities used by many global brands and improving live feeds to our platform. Our second team is dedicated to developing and optimizing an Automation Engine underlying the whole Suite platform that will handle all kinds of frontend and backend automation.

As a Backend Software Engineer II, your work will be integral to driving the success of these critical components and ensuring our platform remains robust, scalable, and innovative.


What You’ll Do Here:

  • Feature Development: Update, maintain, and implement new features in our platform.
  • Core Functionality: Work on the essential functionalities of our product.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and logs and address user requests.
  • Collaboration: Actively cooperate with other teams to find and implement solutions.
  • Communication: Track and report on the progress of issues and features both internally and externally.
  • Quality Assurance: Write tests to ensure our platform remains reliable and easy to maintain.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously update your skill set to advance the platform.
  • Innovation: Explore and experiment to drive the platform forward.
  • Engagement: Participate in team activities and contribute to a fun and dynamic work environment.

What You’ll Bring to Us:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Experience with AWS, SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., Elastic, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-team environment.
  • Proactivity: Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

  • Databases: SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., Elastic, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Message Queuing: RabbitMQ
  • Data Streaming: Kinesis
