Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with 6-8+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices, with a proven track record of building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. This role is critical in advancing our cloud strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our production systems.


What You’ll Do Here:

Cloud Architecture & Management

  • Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security.

Kubernetes & Container Orchestration

  • Deploy, manage, and scale workloads on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
  • Manage cluster upgrades, node scaling, and workload security.

Reliability & Operations

  • Ensure uptime and performance of critical cloud services and applications.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.

Security & Compliance

  • Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC design, and network segmentation.
  • Support compliance and governance requirements across cloud environments.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Partner with developers, DevOps, and security teams to enable cloud adoption and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in code and architecture reviews.

What You'll Bring to Us:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6–8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a primary focus on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, and container orchestration at scale.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in Linux administration, networking, and cloud security best practices.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, and logging tools.

What will be an advantage: 

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps best practices.
