Operational Excellence Business Analyst, Clinical Care
This individual will be an astute, analytical, and highly motivated self-starter. The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail and strive for excellence in every interaction. A confident communicator with a dynamic personality and a drive to reach decision makers is essential. This individual will be responsible for using data to derive insights and optimize our Member Services performance to align with company objectives. This role will primarily focus on monitoring and performance analysis of our Clinical Care team and will have a significant role in guiding the growth and development of this function within the organization. The OPEX Business Analyst should be able to assist in developing processes and procedures in a growing department, helping the team adopt change, and measuring the results of those changes. The OPEX Business Analyst will need to be proficient or expert in Microsoft products, specifically Excel.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work closely with Clinical Care team and Member Services SMEs to develop metrics and reporting strategies.
- Prepare and manage daily action plans using data-driven case management protocols.
- Conduct a high-level needs analysis to determine the organization’s pain points and analyze how the org can address those needs.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate key insights and findings to collaborators. Provide concrete recommendations to relevant teams for addressing customer needs and challenges. Develop data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present data in a concise and understandable manner.
- Work cross-functionally to improve the clinical care experience via effective communication/engagement channels.
- Conducting research and analysis to determine best practices, forecasts, and benchmarking for customer operations and clinical care.
- Perform exploratory analysis to understand processes, cross-functional interactions/relationships, and identify improvement opportunities to influence positive customer experiences
- For customer-facing technology enhancements or process improvements, ensuring proposed requirements and design reflects an exceptional and optimized customer experience that is easy and satisfying, providing feedback where appropriate.
- Assist with client escalations and case management
- Create, maintain, and distribute process workflows and documents
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Economics, or related field preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent interpersonal, relationship development, and verbal communication skills
- High Proficiency in MS Office products
- Familiar with data query/data management tools such as SQL, Power BI, etc.
