Commercial Strategy & Operations Analyst, Network Development
Reports to: Commercial Strategy & Operations Manager, Network Development
Location: New York City (hybrid)
Compensation: $72,000 base + 20% bonus ($86,250 OTE)
About the Team: The Commercial Strategy & Operations team supports the President and his broader go-to-market function, including sales, marketing, account management, client success, channel partners (health plans, ecosystem partners, and benefits consultants), and Network Development. The Network Development team within Commercial is responsible for growing our provider network by signing contracts with surgeons and facilities across the country, in addition to growing and maintaining existing provider relationships.
Your Mission: We're looking for a highly analytical and process-oriented Analyst to join our Commercial Strategy & Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, or other data-driven roles who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will help drive forecasting, support strategic decision-making, and deliver insights & reporting that shape the trajectory of the Network team.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering closely with the Head of Network and field, improve forecasting accuracy by standing up a rigorous process and maintaining data reliability
- By building utilization and capacity models, shape the hiring plans to ensure Network is staffed and resourced to meet Lantern’s growth objectives
- Use Excel and SQL to analyze and report on large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights as it relates to our provider network.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve processes, data visibility, and reporting accuracy
- Create and present reports, dashboards, and insights to leadership to identify the root cause of performance and generate action plans to correct course
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, or analytical roles (e.g., business operations, consulting, or corporate finance)
- Advanced Excel skill; experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for creating executive-level presentations
- Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements across teams
- Be resilient, hard-working, and able to operate in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
- Systems-thinker with the ability to anticipate downstream effects of process and structural changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build trust and work effectively across sales, operations, and executive teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
- Experience in healthcare or digital health a plus
Strong Candidates Will: Strong candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in FP&A or analytical roles, with excellent Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint skills. They're organized, systems-minded, and effective cross-functional collaborators who can translate data into actionable insights and drive process improvements.
