VP Consumer Activation
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Consumer Acquisition to lead the development and execution of our outbound channel penetration strategy. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and member engagement across our core product lines: cancer, infusion, and surgery. Our growth to date has come almost entirely from inbound interest. Your mandate is to build and scale a data-driven outbound motion that consistently delivers ≥ 20% of annual revenue within three years, while maintaining the clinical integrity and consumer-centric reputation that sets us apart.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of expertise in customer experience, service operations management, and outbound sales strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration with sales, enablement, marketing, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an outbound channel penetration strategy that positions our services as essential solutions for members, driving significant revenue growth across our product lines. Create the outbound motion and KPI stack (lead volume, CPL, conversion %, NPS).
- Audit current data sources, mar-tech, dialer/comms tech, and compliance workflows (TCPA, HIPAA).
- Develop innovative methodologies to enhance member engagement, ensuring that our outreach efforts resonate with target audiences and foster long-term relationships. Launch pilot teams with A/B call guides, QA scorecards, and closed-loop reporting to Operations, Product & Marketing to continuously test and improve messaging.
- Partner with product and marketing to develop consumer segmentation plan for predictive targeting, lead scoring, and omnichannel sequencing (voice, SMS, email).
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and channels that can drive increased utilization of our services, thereby accelerating revenue growth.
- Achieve at least 5% of total revenue from outbound, at parity or better unit economics vs. inbound.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound engagement and revenue generation. Publish weekly dashboards; run regular pipeline and conversion reviews; course-correct fast.
- Institutionalize continual test-and-learn culture across scripts, cadences, and cross-sell offers.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to outbound member engagement and calling. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure that operational processes align with strategic objectives and meet high standards of efficiency and scalability to support outbound initiatives. Create SOPs, compensation plans, and compliance safeguards.
- Analyze industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform the development of strategic plans that enhance our outbound engagement efforts.
- Client engagement: Represent member experience value proposition for key client meetings.
Qualifications.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in customer experience operations leading high volume B2C or enrollment teams. 5+ years in senior leadership position scaling <$20M to $100M + revenue.
- Proven ability to manage at both the tactical (2-foot level) and strategic (10,000-foot level) perspectives, effectively translating high-level goals into actionable plans. Strong candidates will have hands-on experience building departments from ground zero.
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, particularly in cancer, infusion, and surgical services, with a strong emphasis on member engagement strategies.
- Proven track record launching data-driven outbound motions that now drive double-digit revenue share (ideally in healthcare, insurance, or fintech).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions and optimize engagement efforts.
- Expertise with predictive modeling, multi-touch attribution, and modern sales-engagement platforms (e.g., Five9, Genesys, Outreach).
- Deep working knowledge of HIPAA, TCPA, and state privacy rules; able to partner with Legal & Compliance on policy design.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. A history of achieving or exceeding revenue targets while enhancing member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
