  • Own control loop design and validation for bidirectional AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion hardware, including units involving the interconnection of multiple converters acting together as a single product.
  • Act as a technical expert for bidirectional 10 kW+ level AC/DC and DC/DC control systems at all stages of design and validationSupport other power related projects as needed.
  • Develop prototype firmware for hardware bring up and testing while working with our established firmware team to transition these efforts into production.
  • Design and test controls code in high voltage and high power set ups and validate its functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with firmware, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and other engineers as needed.
  • Support the transition from new product development into high volume manufacturing.  Assist in developing production line testing of the systems you developed when needed.
  • Work closely with a team of passionate engineers to ensure we develop exceptional hardware products – participate and/or lead design reviews and trades as needed, or lend a hand with testing and debug as required.  We are a small team requiring a high level of collaboration and teamwork to ensure we achieve our goals.
