Position Summary:
The Crew Lead position manages projects and crews during each phase of the project from the initial stage to completion. This position reports directly to the Supervisor and could be co-managed by the Project Manager and/or Branch Manager of that location. This position will interface with other departments within the company.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communications with key stakeholders including Branch Manager, Field Manager, Project Manager, and Project Coordinator for purposes of discussing matters relative to project schedules, changes in scope of work, material, and personnel resources to ensure smooth completion of project.
  • Perform necessary tasks to help expedite the completion of the job, including but not limited to: Pickup/delivery, order materials, packing/moving/inventorying client contents, performing necessary repairs at the highest quality while adhering to code regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead a small group of technicians, providing supervision and direction based on defined job parameters.
  • Complete and turn in crew sheets and job notes at the end of each day.
  • Serve as role model in following and enforcing company policy, customer service standards and safety procedures while performing services.
  • Assist in development of technicians through mentoring, coaching, equipping, and encouraging development of skills.
  • Assist in jobsite safety briefings, providing training within scope of knowledge.
  • Turn in completed work orders and necessary detailed paperwork for Project Coordinators/Billing Specialists to complete billing.
  • Drive cargo vans and/or box trucks up to 26ft, safely and per company policy and guidelines.
  • Utilization of on-site cleaning equipment and power tools as needed.
  • Inventory, track, and document order through production processing.
  • Report any breakage or issues to management.
  • On call rotational schedule, incentive applies.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities):
  • 3 years’ experience in restoration industry or similar
  • 2 years’ experience in Lead role preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds regularly
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Ability to work over-time, when needed
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
