Position Summary:
The Manager of Roofing Sales and Training will play a critical role in supporting Bumble Roofing franchisees by leading sales enablement, training initiatives, and performance coaching. This individual will develop and deliver training programs, refine sales processes, and directly support franchisees and their teams to drive revenue growth and ensure brand standards across markets.
Location: Richmond, VA or Remote, US
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Enablement & Coaching
- Take full ownership of revenue targets and franchisee sales budgets across the brand system.
- Develop, implement, and refine a scalable sales process tailored for franchise use.
- Provide hands-on coaching to franchisee sales reps through virtual and in-market field visits.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend strategies for improving close rates and average ticket sizes.
- Training & Development
- Lead ongoing training sessions on roofing sales techniques, product knowledge, customer experience, and Bumble Roofing systems.
- Create and maintain sales playbooks, training materials, and digital learning tools.
- Assess and coach franchisee sales reps and owners through every step of the sales process, from appointment setting to closing deals, ensuring consistency and results.
- Franchise Support & Performance Management
- Analyze sales KPIs and provide regular performance updates with actionable insights.
- Hold franchisees and their teams accountable through regular performance reviews, call audits, ride-alongs, and action plans.
- Collaborate with brand leadership, operations, and marketing to align on lead generation, conversion, and customer success efforts.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in roofing, home services, or franchise sales (roofing-specific experience strongly preferred)
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated success in sales enablement and leading high-performing sales teams
- Experience delivering training programs, both in-person and virtually
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and drive results through performance coaching
- Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time to support franchisees across the country
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in franchising or working with independently owned businesses
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and online learning platforms
