Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Digital Experience plays a critical role in shaping how patients, providers, and partners experience the organization across all digital touchpoints. This role owns the company’s web strategy end to end—balancing innovation, growth, compliance, and trust—while enabling scalable digital experiences that support access to high-quality, affordable medications. As a cross-functional leader, this position advances the mission of improving lives through secure, compliant, and user-centered digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Web Strategy: Own and execute the enterprise web strategy by translating business growth, patient access, and provider engagement objectives into secure, scalable, high-performing digital experiences.
- Growth Alignment: Align digital initiatives with enterprise priorities by integrating marketing, clinical, and operational objectives into cohesive web roadmaps that drive acquisition, retention, education, and engagement.
- Performance Oversight: Establish success metrics, monitor digital performance, and continuously optimize web initiatives using analytics and stakeholder feedback.
Governance & Compliance
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all web properties comply with healthcare, legal, privacy, and accessibility standards including HIPAA, FDA, FTC, and WCAG requirements.
- Policy Enforcement: Develop and maintain governance frameworks, workflows, and approval processes to safeguard brand integrity and ensure content accuracy.
- Risk Mitigation: Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to identify risks, implement controls, and maintain continuous monitoring to prevent violations and data exposure.
User Experience & Engagement
- Journey Design: Lead end-to-end user experience strategy across patient, prescriber, and B2B journeys, ensuring intuitive, trustworthy, and conversion-optimized pathways.
- Content Optimization: Oversee content strategy, information architecture, and personalization to improve clarity, accessibility, and engagement.
- Conversion Enhancement: Implement testing methodologies, behavioral analytics, and user research to increase conversion rates and reduce friction points.
Technical Management
- Platform Oversight: Direct management of website platforms, CMS environments, integrations, and performance standards in partnership with IT.
- Security Assurance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement safeguards, monitor vulnerabilities, and protect sensitive healthcare data.
- Vendor Management: Lead cross-functional coordination and manage agencies, vendors, budgets, redesigns, and platform migrations to support digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in healthcare digital governance, including HIPAA, FDA, FTC, and WCAG standards.
- Proficiency with enterprise CMS platforms, web analytics tools, SEO, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strong cross-functional leadership with experience managing vendors, budgets, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Advanced knowledge of UX strategy, information architecture, data privacy, cybersecurity, and scalable web systems.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing enterprise-level websites or digital platforms, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep expertise in enterprise WordPress environments, including architecture, workflows, technical SEO, accessibility compliance, performance optimization, and secure content governance.
