About The Role:
As a Product Manager for our SaaS based ERP product focused on compliance and reporting, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our platform meets the needs of our users effectively.
- Responsible for requirements gathering an analysis, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document requirements comprehensively.
- Use creative methods to identify compelling, differentiated solutions that effectively address customer needs, align with the business and drive innovation.
- Participate in team roadmap efforts by defining and prioritizing epics and features that align with the business goals and user’s needs.
- Effectively manage team backlogs by prioritizing across different categories of work (such as bugs, enhancements, innovation, etc.) and leading through the traditional scrum ceremonies including grooming and sprint planning.
- Serve as a market expert and voice of the customer by regularly interacting with customers, deeply understanding their challenges and leading discovery efforts.
- Collaborate extensively within the LINQ ERP Product Team and across various business units (including Engineering, QA, Sales, Support, Client Success, Implementation, UX, and more) to ensure product success, drive successful product releases and foster a robust ecosystem.
- Stay informed regarding the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for differentiation to shape product strategy.
- Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on the product, documenting feature functionality and supporting internal stakeholder inquiries as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manages the product lifecycle from conception through release and beyond, ensuring a timely rollout.
- Identifies and documents risks, such as delays, roadblocks, and deviations from original plan.
- Assists leadership in assessing market demand for new products and concepts; develops, refines, and executes the product roadmap; supporting company goals with a focus on the needs of the client and consumer.
- Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders and multiple cross-functional teams throughout the development process.
- Assists in user acceptance testing and sign off for release of assigned products.
- Responsible for integrating usability studies, user research, and market analysis into product requirements, ensuring products satisfy customer needs.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and client/ user needs.
- Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, product functions, business user cases, and user interface specifications.
- Stays abreast of the competitive landscape and complete competitive analysis; provides ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technologies, and processes.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and supports existing products.
- Customarily and regularly designs and facilitates requirements and elicitation workshops and similar requirements discovery sessions.
- Evaluates the impact of internal and external changes to process and projects.
- Designs and develops effective use cases and user surveys, questionnaires, scenarios, and stories.
- Designs simple protypes, storyboards, and screen mockups.
- Attends conferences as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who has successfully led large, complex products, particularly in highly regulated industries. The ideal candidate is skilled at managing the team's daily initiatives, ensuring scrum ceremonies are effectively executed, and translating business needs into well-defined requirements. They also maintaining a strong pulse on the market, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform our long-term product strategy, develop well planned roadmaps, and drive alignment through well-defines OKR’s.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a combination of education and work experience in a related field.
Job Knowledge/Minimum Work Experience
- 2-5 years product management experience with complex business applications; financial, human resources / payroll, or highly regulated industries. EdTech preferred.
- Experience managing web applications and complex back-office systems.
- Strong knowledge of the product management life cycle process and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in diagramming and modeling during requirements gathering sessions using techniques such as activity diagramming, use cases, and flowcharts.
- Ability to gather business requirements and develop appropriate technology and business solutions: experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- Experience creating and managing product roadmaps, including effectively communicating updates, changes, and strategic shifts to stakeholders.
- Proven experience setting and managing OKR’s, ensuring alignment between product initiatives and broader business goals.
