About the Role

The Senior ERP Implementation Consultant is a key member of the ERP Services team, responsible for guiding K-12 school districts through the full implementation lifecycle of LINQ's ERP platform — spanning Finance (FAS) and HR/Payroll (HRS) modules. This role works closely with a Project Manager and Data Services as part of a dedicated implementation pod, serving as the primary client-facing consultant from kickoff through go-live and handoff to Client Success.

The Senior ERP IC brings deep functional expertise in K-12 finance and/or HR/payroll operations, strong project ownership skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder implementations. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, operations, and client partnership.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with clients throughout the full ERP implementation lifecycle: kickoff, discovery & planning, configuration & setup, data load & validation, training, go-live, and handoff to Client Success.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand district-specific business requirements for Finance (FAS) and HR/Payroll (HRS) modules, documenting configurations and translating needs into system setup decisions.
  • Configure LINQ ERP based on district requirements, applying best practices to optimize the client's experience and minimize post-go-live issues.
  • Design and deliver end-user training through remote sessions, webinars, and on-site visits as needed, adapting content to varied audience skill levels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to district administrators, proactively identifying risks, surfacing concerns early, and escalating appropriately through established processes.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to track milestone progress, maintain project documentation in Rocketlane and Salesforce, and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Support data migration efforts in coordination with Data Services, validating that client data loads are accurate and complete prior to go-live.
  • Participate in weekly high-profile project reviews, contributing insights on at-risk projects and recommending corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of LINQ's ERP escalation framework, implementation playbooks, and training resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in project management and CRM tools (Rocketlane, Salesforce) and complete administrative responsibilities including time reporting and internal communications.
  • Stay current on K-12 finance, HR, and payroll regulatory requirements relevant to district operations.
  • Represent LINQ at user events and conferences (remote and in-person) as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Be an advocate and champion of LINQ software and services.

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including one or more of the following:

    • ERP software implementation or professional services delivery
    • Business process consulting in a government or public sector context

  • Project management experience or certification (PMI-based CAPM or PMP) a plus

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Deep functional knowledge of K-12 finance operations (budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger) and/or HR/payroll processes
  • Experience with ERP platforms in a K-12 or government context (e.g., Alio, Tyler, Frontline, or similar)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations across varying project stages and district sizes
  • Exceptional client relationship and communication skills — able to build trust with district superintendents, finance directors, and HR administrators alike
  • Proven ability to identify early warning signs of at-risk projects and intervene proactively
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and contributing to process improvement in a scaling organization

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
