Sales Operations Manager
About the Role
The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in optimizing sales performance by driving operational excellence, implementing strategic processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales strategies. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to the sales leadership team, providing insights, tools, and processes to achieve revenue targets and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Location: Tampa, FL (hybrid, 3 days from the office)
Reports to: Chief Growth Officer
POD: Growth, Sales
Your day will consist of:
Sales Operations Strategy
- Develop and implement sales operations strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve sales processes, systems, and data management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and track key performance metrics (KPIs).
Process Optimization & Automation
- Evaluate, refine, and streamline sales workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Implement automation tools and technologies to reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy.
- Drive the adoption of standardized processes across sales teams.
Data Management & Reporting
- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of sales data in CRM systems (Dynamics CE & HubSpot).
- Design and deliver reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for sales leaders.
- Conduct data analysis to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management
- Collaborate with sales leaders to maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Ensure the sales pipeline aligns with organizational objectives and financial goals.
- Monitor pipeline health and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align goals and processes.
- Partner with HR and training teams to develop and implement sales onboarding programs.
- Provide input for incentive programs and ensure alignment with performance objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead cross-departmental projects to drive operational excellence and collaboration.
Here's what it takes to be successful in the role:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or a related field, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics CE) and sales automation tools.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Expertise in sales process design and optimization.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a SaaS, tech, or B2B environment.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and revenue management.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN or Challenger.

Work Structure & Collaboration
