Summary
As a Solution Consultant at Encompass, you’ll be the technical linchpin in our sales process—bringing our platform to life for prospective customers across the beverage industry. You won’t just demo products; you’ll craft compelling stories that show how our solutions—from production to distribution—can transform the way our customers work.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll partner closely with the Sales team to understand the unique needs of each prospect and deliver tailored presentations that demonstrate real-world impact. Your deep product expertise, consultative approach, and ability to connect with both technical and non-technical audiences will help prospects envision success with Encompass.
This is more than a sales support role—it’s an opportunity to shape how our platform is perceived and adopted by some of the world’s most passionate producers and distributors in the beverage space.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related SaaS product or sales experience required
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal; an excellent active listener
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Team player with a desire to work collaboratively with and through others
- Problem-solving and root cause identification skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguous situations
- Strong understanding of wine production and experience using wine production software
Responsibilities
- Work closely with prospective customers to identify and understand their unique requirements, challenges, and objectives and align solution recommendations to address them
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and demonstrate how our solutions meet the specific needs of potential customers
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to define product demo requirements and deliver high level / introductory customer facing product demonstrations
- Act as a trusted SME / advisor to our customers and internal teams
- Create or assist with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers
- Work closely with Product Management to provide insightful market feedback
- Maintain expert level understanding of the software and stay up to date with features and roadmap
Additional Details
This role will receive a competitive salary + commission + benefits. The salary for US-based employees may expect offers in the ranges for this role.
Base Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000 annually
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation, including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.
Travel: This position may require some overnight travel to customer sites, prospect locations, and to international offices. Additional travel includes attendance of company meetings and trade shows.
Location: We are a hybrid organization and are open to remote work. Our corporate office is located in Fort Collins, CO.
