Senior Technical Project Manager - AWS Cloud

Job Summary 

As a Senior Technical Project Manager - AWS Cloud (20183), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Lead and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure projects, including migration from on-premise environments to AWS
• Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams of cloud and infrastructure engineers to ensure successful project delivery
• Define and drive cloud architecture strategies, including disaster recovery, scalability, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions, documentation, and continuous improvements aligned with business objectives

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery and support roles
• 10+ years of experience leading large teams of cloud and infrastructure engineers
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud migrations from on-premise environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, and infrastructure design
• Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions in AWS environments
• Experience with automation and building immutable or stateless infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies applied to infrastructure and cloud projects
• Experience preparing high-level and low-level technical design documentation
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills in dynamic environments
