We at Coforge are hiring Senior Automation Engineer (#21064) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks, scripts, and quality engineering solutions.
• Contribute to automation tool enhancements, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous integration systems to improve maintainability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with software, security, and cross-functional engineering teams to perform system-level testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure software quality.
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues across multi-tier architectures, and provide recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including at least 3 years as an SDET and 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for automation development.
• Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong expertise with frontend automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, TestCafe, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing backend integration tests for RESTful APIs and working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and source control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills, including tools such as Splunk or GCP logging solutions.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience working in Agile/Lean environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing cloud-based products and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with VPN technologies and networking concepts.
• Experience with load, scalability, and performance testing.
• Experience building internal tools to improve developer productivity and testing efficiency.
