Part-Time IT Asset Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)
Role Overview
The part-time, temporary IT Asset Logistics Coordinator is an on-site role in Lee Summit, Missouri responsible for maintaining our stock of computers for remote users. You'll inspect, troubleshoot, and image laptops, and handle shipping and receiving. During the peak season you will be handling 20-50 computers a day to prep to ship out, or receiving computers to inspect and re-image to prepare for users. During the off-peak season you will assist with the internal Helpdesk.
A Day in the Life
- Inspect current hardware and troubleshoot any issues preventing use
- Enroll and image via Intune
- Process large amounts of returns and new shipments
- Maintain inventory records
- Work alongside the Helpdesk as time permits
Role Progression
- Within 1 month, you’ll learn the the inventory process and asset tracking, making sure that assets are prepared and ready by deadlines.
- Within 3 months, you’ll know the ins and outs of inventory reporting, and will become familiar with the Encoura tech stack. You'll make sure that all inventory is properly tracked and updated within our ITAM.
- Within 6 months, you'll be engaged with the helpdesk to start learning the processes and learning how to handle tickets. Asset management will be handled by you, ensuring that deliveries and returns are handled on time, properly, and efficiently.
About You
- You have experience with maintaining large amounts of inventory and keeping clear and accurate records
- You have experience with managing shipping and receiving
- You’re able to independently perform basic computer troubleshooting
- You’re comfortable working independently with management that is off-site
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Successful candidates will be required to complete and pass a CLEAR™ identity verification as part of the pre-employment screening process
The hourly rate for this role is $28. This is a temporary, part-time position expected to conclude in late October and is not eligible for health benefits. Encoura complies with all applicable state and local laws regarding paid time off.
