We are looking for a Junior Associate Business Analyst to support the Solutions team with high-impact internal and external enablement efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is enthusiastic about energy analytics, data storytelling, and helping teams scale through great content and repeatable solutions.
You’ll work closely with analysts, product and sales teams to build dashboards, contribute to persona-based demo and FAQ documents, and assist in organizing high-quality collateral for energy customers navigating the shift to cloud-based modeling and forecasting. In this role, you will support initiatives aligned with the team’s 2025 goals, including dashboard development, demo preparation, sales enablement, use case repositories, and structured customer discovery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and maintain intuitive dashboards (e.g., in Power BI, Looker Studio, or Excel) that illustrate customer insights and scenario outcomes.
- Support the development of reusable enablement assets, including playbooks, one-pagers, and solution briefs tailored to key personas (e.g., Analysts, Executives, Traders).
- Build and structure an internal use case repository that highlights common business problems and how Energy Exemplar tools can solve them.
- Contribute to demo prep and delivery, including building walkthrough scripts, checklists, and responding to live customer questions during internal sessions.
- Maintain and update frequently asked question (FAQ) libraries, including mapping common customer needs to relevant product features and statuses.
- Attend internal and external discovery meetings to document questions, insights, and patterns across customer segments.
- Participate in enablement projects, such as collateral feedback loops, Azure training, and internal demo framework adoption.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience in a business analysis, technical marketing, or customer support/enablement role (internship experience welcome).
- Strong written and visual communication skills — able to turn complex input into clean, clear documentation or dashboards.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or advanced Excel.
- Comfort with structured data and tools like SQL; bonus for familiarity with APIs, Python, or R.
- Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in the energy industry, policy analysis, or enterprise software modeling.
- Self-starter mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Desired but not required (not needed for every position)
- Exposure to energy markets, government, consulting, or financial services.
- Participation in cross-functional workflows involving product, sales, or customer success teams.
- Experience organizing shared content libraries or onboarding resources.
The pay range for this position is between $75,000-100,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
