Contracts Manager (Remote - U.S)

We are currently seeking a full-time Contracts Manager to support our Contract Services team within the Finance Department. This role will report to the Associate Director of Contracts and is responsible for performing contracts administration tasks to ensure the efficient drafting, review, execution, and processing of contract documents with clients, vendors, and other parties. To ensure success as a Contracts Manager at Energy Solutions, you should be self-motivated, a critical thinker, resourceful, and have an exceptional attention to detail. This role requires the ability to conduct detailed legal reviews and redlining, to be conducted in coordination with our General Counsel and other internal reviewers. A willingness to learn more about the industry, Energy Solutions’ business, and company goals will support your ability to excel in this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting the legal review and redlining of client contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, scopes of work, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, memorandums of understanding, and other contract types
- Summarizing business concerns within contracts for internal stakeholders and counterparties
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all contract documentation
- Customizing existing contract templates for subcontractors and vendors
- Facilitating and managing the internal review process for all contracts
- Assisting in routing contract documents for signatures through e-signature software tools
- Maintaining digital files in Energy Solutions’ business systems
- Entering contract-related data and summarizing compliance obligations within Energy Solutions business systems
- Supporting the creation and updating of department processes and training materials
- May be required to conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders
- Attend and contribute to ongoing team meetings
- Supporting other contracts administration duties as may be requested
- Over time, may support in the supervision and oversight of junior team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a contracts administration and/or contracts management role
- Contract/legal language literacy
- Ability to work with external and internal contract templates
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to interface with internal stakeholders as well as external parties such as vendors and clients
- Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced work environment with multiple competing deadlines and priorities
- Fast and accurate keyboard and data entry skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to stay motivated in a remote work environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- SharePoint experience is preferable
- Experience with Contracts Management Software is preferable
- Willingness to conduct infrequent (5%) business travel
Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of $80,000 - $105,000 /Annually
