As an Associate Account Manager you will take ownership of customer inquiries and proactively seek new opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for a high volume of potential customers in our $0-$50K segment. Your role will focus on identifying and engaging hand-raisers—businesses that show interest in our platform—through outbound calls, emails, and sequences. Your goal is to qualify and nurture these leads, ultimately passing strong opportunities to our Small Business and Mid-Market+ sales teams. This is a high-energy, high-impact role where persistence, adaptability, and curiosity will set you up for success.
Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Conduct high-volume outreach through calls, emails, and automated sequences to engage businesses in our $0-$50K segment
- Generate new business opportunities within account base to meet and exceed target quota
- Present Hotel Engine’s value position in the unmanaged travel space with expertise
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as business operations, member support, marketing, sales enablement, product development and production support to drive customer outcomes
- Collaborate with the Small Business and Mid-Market+ sales teams to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
- Identify and qualify hand-raisers, nurturing them into potential sales opportunities.
- Become a subject matter expert in the Hotel Engine platform & industry with extensive, accurate product knowledge
- Consistently meet or exceed daily KPI requirements
- Track and manage outreach efforts within Salesforce and other sales engagement tools.
- Provide feedback on outreach strategies, messaging, and overall process efficiency.
- Analyze conversion metrics and contribute insights to improve prospecting effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach (calls, emails, sequencing) and a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone and via email.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with curiosity to analyze trends and test new approaches.
- Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar is a plus.
- Growth-oriented and excited to learn—this role is a great stepping stone into sales and account management.
