Role Overview:
As Program Manager of partnerships GTM you will be a pivotal member of the Partnerships team, tasked with building repeatable and scalable go-to-market programs from the ground up. Your core mission is to design, pilot, and scale the programs that accelerate partner-sourced and influenced revenue. You will begin by working with a select group of initial partners to develop and prove a successful co-selling model. A key part of your role will be collaborating directly with Partners, Partner Managers, Sales Leadership, and Revenue Operations to solve critical challenges in lead routing and sales activity, ensuring that partner leads are actioned efficiently to maximize conversion. This is a builder role for a process-oriented operator who thrives on turning strategy into tangible sales results.
Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Identify opportunities for new GTM programs within Engine’s Partnerships ecosystem. Conduct research, analyze trends, develop, and implement new program proposals that can drive bookings growth and customer retention.
- Co-Sell Program Creation & Piloting: Design and build our co-selling framework from the ground up. You will launch and manage an initial pilot program with a handful of strategic partners, defining the playbooks, rules of engagement, and success metrics that will serve as the foundation for future scaling.
- Designated AE/AM Program Scaling: Take ownership of our designated Account Executive (AE) and Account Manager (AM) partner programs. You will be responsible for refining the model based on pilot program results and developing the strategy to scale these programs across a broader set of partners and sales teams.
- Lead Management & Process Optimization: Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to map, implement, and optimize the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with the Co-sell, Designated AE and AM Programs.
- Sales & Partner Enablement: Own the end-to-end co-sell enablement strategy. You will develop programs and materials to train our internal sales teams on partner value propositions, while also ensuring partners are effectively enabled on Engine’s product and processes to confidently refer business.
- Performance Management & Analytics: Define and track the KPIs for the pilot programs, with a heavy focus on conversion rates, gross booking revenue velocity and volume rates. Deliver regular reporting on program effectiveness to drive data-informed decisions.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the central point of contact between Partnerships, Sales, and RevOps to ensure our partner sales programs are efficient and scalable. You will gather feedback, identify process bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 3-5+ years in a partner/sales program management or partner enablement role with a clear track record of building programs that drive revenue in a B2B or startup environment.
- Process & Operations Acumen: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing sales & partner processes, particularly around lead routing, qualification, and management.
- "Builder" Mindset: Proven ability to build programs from scratch in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You are comfortable starting with a blank slate, piloting, learning, and iterating.
- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and methodologies. You must be able to "speak the language" of sales and understand the day-to-day challenges and opportunities facing AEs and AMs.
- Influence & Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; you are able to influence and align with stakeholders in Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to achieve shared objectives.
- Data-Driven Program Manager: An analytical mindset with experience using CRM data to inform program design and measure success, especially around sales funnel metrics.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Familiarity with TravelTech or experience in a travel industry startup.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Looker).
- History of working successfully in remote or distributed teams.
