Role Overview:
As the Partner Program Manager, your primary focus will be to accelerate new partners’ time-to-value from the moment they sign a contract to their very first referral. You will design and execute structured onboarding programs, enablement resources, and launch initiatives that ensure new partners can successfully refer business to Engine, quickly and confidently. In doing so, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Sales, Marketing, and Product—to equip partners with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to start contributing to revenue growth right away.
Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Partner Launch & Activation: Design and execute structured onboarding programs that accelerate partner time-to-value. Set and achieve ambitious activation targets, focusing on rapidly converting new partnerships into active referral channels that drive revenue growth.
- Partner Segmentation: Design differentiated onboarding paths based on partner type, size, industry, and/or other criteria. Create segment specific enablement resources and activation timelines that recognize each partner’s unique needs.
- Strategic Launch Campaigns: Partner with Marketing to develop and execute impactful launch initiatives that drive early-stage referrals. Create templated campaign frameworks and co-marketing playbooks that partners can effectively leverage across their channels.
- Program Development: Build comprehensive partner programs to maximize booking volumes including webinars, co-selling strategies, SPIFFs, and other scalable initiatives.
- Performance Management & Analytics: Define and track key activation metrics across the partner portfolio. Deliver regular reporting and insights on partner health, referral conversion rates, and program effectiveness to drive data-informed decisions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to streamline the referral experience and remove barriers to success. Establish clear feedback loops and success metrics that inform continuous program improvements.
- Internal Stakeholder Alignment: Conduct regular syncs with Partner Managers and Partnerships Leadership Team to identify activation blockers, gather partner feedback, and ensure smooth handoffs. Serve as the voice of the partner internally, advocating for process improvements that accelerate time-to-first referral.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 2-5+ years in a partner enablement, partner management, or partner program role, ideally in a B2B or startup environment.
- Onboarding Expertise: Proven track record of designing and executing onboarding frameworks that reduce time-to-value for external partners or customers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for crafting compelling training materials and partner-facing resources.
- Collaboration & Adaptability: Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment; able to adjust quickly to changing business needs.
- Project Management: Skilled in setting clear goals and timelines, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with tracking key performance metrics (e.g., partner activation rates) and using data to inform continuous improvements.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and empathy; able to cultivate and maintain trust-based relationships with partners at all levels.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Familiarity with TravelTech or experience in a travel industry startup.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Looker).
- History of working successfully in remote or distributed teams.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
Base Pay Range
$115,000 - $130,000 USD
Variable Range
$130,000 - $150,000 USD
