At Engine, we’re transforming business travel—and doing it with speed, heart, and hustle. To help us scale effectively, we’re hiring a Senior/Staff Program Manager to drive coordination, execution, and delivery across our product teams. This role is key to bringing structure and clarity to how we build and launch products, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and helping us scale our program management practice from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end program management for product delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Client Operations.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle—from ideation through launch and post-launch performance tracking.
- Develop and implement efficient processes that enhance visibility, consistency, and execution quality across teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product leadership to translate roadmaps into actionable plans, monitor progress, and align initiatives with business goals.
- Drive stakeholder management by proactively communicating status, flagging risks, and removing blockers to keep projects on track.
- Own and optimize tools such as Jira and Asana for program tracking, reporting, and documentation to increase transparency and accountability.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that improve team collaboration, workflows, and operational effectiveness.
- Create clear, concise documentation and communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Participate in planning cadences including quarterly planning, retrospectives, and all-hands meetings to maintain consistent execution rhythms.
- Balance multiple priorities and context-switch effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, stepping in to course-correct as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience leading and managing program management teams, ideally with 4-5 direct reports.
- Proven track record in program management within product engineering organizations, with deep understanding of the full product development lifecycle.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, and lean environments—preferably in tech or SaaS companies rather than large enterprises or heavily regulated industries.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills—you excel at coordinating across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Strong operational discipline with keen attention to detail—ensuring every task is tracked, risks are flagged early, and blockers are removed efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, able to transparently update stakeholders and drive alignment.
- Comfortable with tools like Jira and Asana; experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude) is a plus but not required.
- Outcomes-driven mindset with a focus on defining and measuring success metrics.
- Proactive and self-directed—you take initiative and require minimal hand-holding.
- Experience managing performance and coaching team members, including handling difficult conversations when necessary.
