Our modern travel platform isn’t just about booking trips; it’s about transforming how businesses and their teams experience travel. You’ll focus on Engine’s credit card application and onboarding experience, driving experimentation, funnel optimization, and new ways to deliver value through a self-serve, data-driven, and delightful user journey. You’ll help us reimagine what a financial onboarding experience can be—simple, smart, and seamless.
Your success will be measured by accelerating user activation, improving conversion through experimentation, reducing friction across the funnel, and establishing the foundation for scalable, product-led growth.
Your Role
You’ll own and evolve the credit card application and onboarding funnel, identifying and executing growth opportunities that make it easier, faster, and more intuitive for users to get started with Engine’s financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Experimentation & Funnel Optimization – Build and lead a robust experimentation framework to improve conversion, activation, and engagement across the application and onboarding flows.
- PLG Strategy & Execution – Define and execute a product-led growth strategy that drives self-serve acquisition and activation across all customer segments.
- User Experience Re-invention – Reimagine the end-to-end onboarding journey with a focus on removing friction, clarifying value, and building trust.
- Data-Driven Insights – Partner with data science to deeply understand user behavior, identify high-impact opportunities, and measure experiment results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and risk teams to align on goals, launch experiments, and operationalize learnings.
- Growth Infrastructure – Develop and scale the internal tools and systems needed to support rapid experimentation, A/B testing, and data instrumentation.
- Scaling Success Metrics – Define and own key metrics (application start rate, approval rate, activation time, and LTV/CAC efficiency) and continuously improve them.
What You Should Bring
- 6–8+ years of product management experience, including significant exposure to growth, experimentation, or funnel optimization.
- Proven success driving measurable improvements in conversion and retention through A/B testing and hypothesis-driven product work.
- Deep experience with PLG tactics—onboarding, activation, and engagement loops.
- Strong understanding of experimentation design, statistical rigor, and data interpretation.
- Experience working with acquisition, marketing, and risk teams on optimizing financial or application-based funnels.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of aligning across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- A systems thinker who can balance speed and scale while maintaining product quality and user trust.
- Experience with financial products, fintech onboarding, or identity verification flows is a strong plus.
