Backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, and Permira, Engine has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing travel and fintech platforms in North America, with honors including the Deloitte Fast 500 and Built In’s Best Places to Work.

The Senior Manager, Supply Program Operations (Last Mile) leads the team responsible for ensuring the health, reliability, and performance of all supplier integrations end-to-end — from internal systems through third-party connections and ultimately to the property level. This role combines program management, technical operations, and strategic leadership to ensure accurate data flow, seamless bookings, and flawless traveler experiences.

You’ll oversee two critical functions within the Supply organization: Technical Operations and Integration Reliability. Together, these teams serve as the single point of accountability for integration stability, incident response, and continuous improvement across global supply partners. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and external suppliers to identify root causes, eliminate systemic failures, and scale proactive monitoring practices that safeguard system performance and traveler satisfaction.

This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader — someone who can move fluidly between technical depth, operational execution, and long-term planning to build a best-in-class connectivity ecosystem.

Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:

  • Lead and scale the Last Mile organization, overseeing Technical Operations and Integration Reliability teams responsible for ensuring stable supplier connectivity.
  • Act as the point of escalation and accountability for supplier-side booking, inventory, and check-in issues, driving timely triage and long-term resolution.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies that reduce booking and integration failures.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs focused on system reliability, cost reduction, and supplier enablement efficiency.
  • Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and performance dashboards for supplier and integration health.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to diagnose systemic issues, streamline recovery processes, and strengthen overall integration quality.
  • Translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear, actionable initiatives for cross-functional teams.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team that blends technical expertise, analytical rigor, and operational discipline.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for root cause analysis, incident classification, and post-incident review to promote continuous learning and accountability.
  • Contribute to the broader Supply leadership team by influencing roadmap priorities, process maturity, and organizational alignment.

Who You Are

  • A strategic, systems-minded operator who thrives on solving complex integration challenges.
  • A hands-on leader who balances technical fluency with business acumen.
  • Analytical, decisive, and calm under pressure — with a strong bias for action.
  • Skilled at leading through influence, driving accountability, and building cross-functional trust.
  • Passionate about reliability, customer experience, and operational excellence.
  • Motivated by building scalable teams and delivering measurable impact.

What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, operations, or technical support within a complex, API-driven or platform environment.
  • Proven success leading technical operations, product support, or production reliability functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute operational strategies that improve SLAs, reduce incidents, and enhance reliability.
  • Skilled in data interpretation, process optimization, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience using observability and analytics tools (e.g., Datadog, Snowflake, Looker, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills — able to align diverse teams around shared goals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
